| The 7th Columbia Open will be held August 17 - 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn - Harbison. This will be the fourth straight year the Hilton has played host to the Midlands Premier tournament. This year's tournament will feature Four Sections instead of three, Open, U2000, U1600 & U1200 with prizes for the Top three finishers in each section and an Under prize. The other change to this year's tournament is the time control has been changed to Game 120 which makes for a less rushed schedule that should allow participants the chance to enjoy some of the many fine restaurants and stores in the Harbison area.
